I am the Senior Pastor at Calvary Bible Church.

I came to Calvary in 2007, serving as the Assistant Pastor from 2007 to 2009, and becoming Senior Pastor on January 1, 2010. Prior to coming to Calvary, I was Teaching Pastor at Wellspring Chapel (now Harvest Bible Chapel) in DeKalb, Illinois and had previously served as a senior pastor, interim pastor, and a seminary staff member in other ministries.

I have also taught courses on both the college and seminary levels.

I have earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where I studied preaching under the legendary Haddon Robinson. I also hold Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree.

I am married to Suzanne, a General Surgeon at Chelsea Community Hospital. We have three children.
