Four Ears, Three Infections
Recently, Jeffrey and Hannah both had ear infections. Jeffrey had two of them. And pneumonia. That’s my boy—always going pedal to the metal, even when he’s sick. But one dose of amoxicillin and a good night’s sleep pretty much cured him.
After Hannah came down with her ear infection, a couple of days after Jeffrey’s, I went to Meijer to get her prescription for the pink stuff filled. I arrived at the pharmacy to drop off the script around 8:40 at night. The clerk told me she’d have it ready soon and that I should come right back because they close at 9 p.m.
Hmmmm…. Isn’t it interesting? Many drug stores have regular store hours, but the pharmacy is open 24 hours. Meijer is open 24 hours, but their pharmacy closes at nine.
Oh well, I got the meds with 3 minutes to spare before closing time. And they were free. So, I’m not complaining. I’m just saying.
